Get involved with Business Mum Week 2010

We have activities taking place all across the UK and we want YOU involved. Working on the success of BMW09 it promises to be a great week. BUT, this year, we’re starting the build up in the New Year.

You can get involved as much or as little as you want to, you'll have us to back you up and fully support your event. We can advise you, send you flyers, giveaways, press releases, all we want you to do is think of an event and hold it!

Whatever you choose, our support is here for you. You'll be building an important link in the ever growing Mumpreneur network, so we'll help you get media attention for your own business. We will promote you and your event from the website, which we'll be promoting too.

Business Mum Week will be about recognising the challenges that us mums face and the achievements we have already made.

All we need to know is what you plan to do, and so that we can keep a track of the events, simply fill out the form here and email it to admin@mumsclub.co.uk

Some ideas... hold an event of your choice, big or small, as long as you are promoting business mum networking at the event, we will link to your details from here.

A face2face networking meet up: Supported by MumsClub, you could hold a networking meeting at a venue of your choice, you will receive support on sourcing a venue, finding other mums to join you and how to run the meeting, and of ocurse on going support from MumsClub for regular meetings.

An shopping centre open day: If you and one or two other local mums could spare a few hours, we will help you organise an event at a local shopping mall where you can simply hand out free business guides and local networking information (provided by us) to any women with families who may be looking for ideas or inspiration for a new business. You will also be able to promote your own business by using your own experiences to demonstrate how you became a Mumpreneur.

A baby/toddler fair: promote your event as you would normally but with the addition of handing out free business guides and local networking information (provided by us) to any women with families who may be looking for ideas or inspiration for a new business.

A workshop: Taking inspiration from what you already do, if you run classes, you could hold a free taster session using Business Mum Week as the lead promotion, and having the information and guides to give away to all attendees.

Or come up with your own idea to raise the profile of Mumpreneurs and your own business.

Whichever type of event you feel you could organise, we will support you all the way. We will provide information and business guides to distribute as well as banners where required, flyers and of course the all important press releases for you to generate some local press coverage.

Just let us know your ideas...

Join the mumsclub forums to chat with other mums about your ideas (or find someone to buddy up with!)
